The club in its current form was founded in 2004. Club history covers the Overton and Middleton lineage, grounds, and honours in detail.

Middleton & Overton Sports FC is a proud grassroots football club competing in the First Division of the Mid Lancashire Football League. Built on passion, community spirit, and a love for the game, the club represents the heart and identity of Middleton and Overton, just south of Morecambe.

Founded with the aim of bringing local talent together, we are more than just a football team; we are a community hub for adult football in this part of Lancashire. Our players, coaches, and supporters share a commitment to hard work, respect, and enjoyment both on and off the pitch. Every matchday is an opportunity to showcase not only our footballing ability but also the pride we have in representing our community.
